Betty M. (Beegle) Mills

Betty M. Mills, Greenville (Pymatuming Twp.) passed away peacefully at 10:33 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Sharon Regional Health System with her family by her side.  She was 81.

Betty was born in Bedford County, on February 9, 1935 a daughter of the late John Russell and Vera (McCune) Beegle.  She had been married to Wilmer F. Mills, Sr. who preceded her in death on November 15, 1972.   She had been employed at the former Blue Sky Inn, Transfer and then went onto work in the Food service department of Thiel College from which she had retired after 20 years of service.  She was a member of the Grace Community Church, Hermitage.   Betty enjoyed the friendship of her good friends and family and the family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to those who offered comfort and support during this difficult time.

Betty is survived by a son, John Mills and his wife Cynthia of Mercer, a granddaughter, Rachel Margaret Mills of Mercer and a sister Joanne Jay of Everett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 sisters, Wanda Von Stein, Arvella Wine, Florence Krause, Viola McDonald and Irene Mills, 3 brothers, Lloyd Beegle ,Calvin Beegle and John Beegle.

Grave side services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Pleasant Union Church Cemetery 259 Pleasant Union Church Road, Clearville, PA at 11:00 am with Pastor Delmas Bard of the Pleasant Union Church officiating.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The interment will follow with Betty being laid to rest next to her husband.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L.
