He is survived by his children, Kyle Kelso and his girlfriend, Krysta Payton, of Meadville, and Kayla Thurber Benthall of Greenville; and by his two grandchildren, Jackson Benthall and his girlfriend, Rena Leonard, and Amanda Benthall and her boyfriend, Jadon Ferguson, all of Greenville.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Kelso; his wife, Susan Thurber; and his sister, Maria Kelso.
In accordance with Mike’s wishes, no services will be held. His family will honor his life privately.
