William E. Sowash, Hadley (Sandy Creek Twp.) passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2020 in Greenville. He was 39.
William was born in Greenville on July 26, 1981 a son of Douglas W. and Linda A. (Schender) Sowash. He had attended the Commodore Perry High School and was a graduate of Keystone Charter School. On August 23, 2008 he married the former Dixie Scobbie who survives.
He is remembered by his family as a loving man with a passion for helping and supporting friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, with a special fondness for fishing, hiking, golfing and camping. He loved to spend quality time with his daughters and support them through everything.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie; two daughters, Aaliyah Sowash and Taylor Sowash, Greenville; three step daughters, Alicia Sowash, Greenville, Kaylee Sowash, Greenville and Ashley Dinardo, Greenville; his mother, Linda A. Sowash, Hadley; his father, Douglas W. Sowash, Greenville; his paternal grandmother, Katherine “Kitty” Sowash, Greenville, a sister, Trista Sowash and her fiancé, Jesse Sullivan, Sheakleyville; two brothers, John Sowash and his fiancé Faye Bosnjak, Transfer and James Sowash, Greenville; 6 nieces and nephews, Zoey Sullivan, Calvin, and Caden Sowash, Haley Borden, Claire Sowash and Jameson Sowash and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, G. William Sowash; maternal grandparents, Mary Alice Evans and Joseph Schender.
Family and friends may call on Friday, October 9, 2020 from Noon – 2:00 pm and 6:00 -8:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
