Wesley Joseph Wertz, Sr., 45,  Aliquippa, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on  February 10, 2023. Born March 4, 1977, to William, Jr. and Bonnie (Harding) Wertz , Adamsville PA.

Wes was a beloved son, cherished brother, and loving father.

He was a 1995 graduate of Jamestown High School.  He participated in baseball, wrestling, and track. He went on to receive his  Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State, Behrend College.  Obtaining various licenses and certifications over the years. He truly enjoyed his profession. He began working at  NuTec Automation Architects, then Vec Technology before moving on to Horizontal Well Drilling, Oklahoma. His job enabled him to travel and happily share the beauty he saw in this great nation with his family.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Norma (Sherbondy) DiDonato and  Joseph DiDonato, and William Wertz Sr.  Maternal grandmother Annabelle Harding.

Surviving is his parents, William and Bonnie, brother William (Sharon), his son Wesley Jr. (Hubbard, Ohio), and his mother Sonya Cadman of Hubbard  Maternal grandfather Scott Harding(Conneaut Lake Pa), Aunt Laura and Uncle Sam Paxton (Greenville Pa) Uncle Ken Harding (Nancy)(Jamestown Pa), Aunt Debra Harding (Conneaut Lake Pa), Uncle Cris (Carol) DiDonato (Oklahoma) Uncle Mark (Susan)DiDonato (Tennessee) cousins Scott (Jessica) Harding (Meadville Pa), William (Stacey) Pfaff (Conneaut Lake Pa), Jessica Pfaff (Jamestown Pa) and their children.  Adam DiDonato (Oklahoma) Brian (Whitney) DiDonato (Oklahoma)

Wesley accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior while in high school. We rejoice knowing he's walking with Jesus.

The family will be privately honoring Wesley’s life at a later date.
