Victoria "Vicki" Dee (Riley) Mills

Victoria (Vicki) Dee Mills, 72, of Greenville, PA., passed away on Thursday, April 28th, surrounded by loved ones after fighting a courageous battle with juvenile diabetes type 1. Born June 24, 1953, in Greenville, PA, daughter of the late Victor and Marian Riley, she lived a full and meaningful life marked by a cheerfulness that was contagious.

Vicki was a woman of faith and an extraordinary model and true believer of kindness. Her passions included putting together puzzles, enjoying friendly rounds of bingo, playing games on her tablet, completing Bible studies, and making others smile. She was a woman of generosity and care that extended to every living creature. Among her many ways of brightening the lives of those around her daily was her extensive hat collection that others fondly looked forward to seeing flaunted—especially her favorite purple cowboy hat.

No matter what life threw at her, she faced it with hopeful determination and a smile. Family, friends, and service were her life’s calling. Vicki’s legacy of love, kindness, and friendship with all who crossed her path will be carried on by those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Trudy Kay Riley.

She is survived by her son, Jamie Lee Mills of Braddock, PA; her brother, Steve Riley (Millie) of Greenville, PA; her sister, Cindy Mogus (Joe) of Louisville, OH; along with many friends who will sadly miss her remarkable spirit.

The funeral service celebrating the life of Vicki will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Jerry McCloskey, pastor of Jerusalem Christian Church officiating.  The visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from4:00 to 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Vicki’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
