Twila I. Shaw, Meadville passed away Friday afternoon, June 10, 2022, at the Wesbury Retirement Community with her family by her side. She was 88.
She was born in Meadville on April 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Amos and Susie (Anthony) Peterson. She had been married to Wayne Riordan and subsequently married David Edson Shaw who preceded her in death on December 21, 2002. She was a homemaker and in her younger years had been a waitress. Mrs. Shaw enjoyed playing bingo and visiting casinos, but her greatest joy came from the moments she could share with her family. For many years, she had been affiliated with the Salvation Army.
She is survived by her children, Linda Narpes, Robbie (Kimberly) Riordan, Lorri (Larry) Moyer, Richard (Kathy) Riordan and Carol Moyer; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; a son, Wayne Riordan, Jr.; three sisters, Lucille Park, June Allen and Shirley Carrington; a brother, Stanley Peterson and three grandchildren, Alyssa Riordan, Kenny Riordan and Stacey Riordan.
A graveside service for Twila and her son, Wayne will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the Anderson Cemetery, Greenwood Twp. with a Celebration of Life for Twila and Wayne to follow at 3:00 pm at Roche Park, Vernon Twp.
