Stephen Chappel Obituary

Stephen J. Chappel, 64, of Meadville died after a lengthy illness Friday, June 24, 2022, at his home.

Steve was born in Meadville March 25, 1958, the son of Lewis E. and Pauline (Buschko) Chappel. He was a 1976 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High and Crawford County Vo-Tech. He worked various Tool & Die jobs including Pennsylvania Tool & Gage and Acutec Precision Machining as well as owning his own small business Chappel Tool & Mfg from 1995-2003.

He is survived by siblings Mrs. Elmer (Judy) Lesuer of McKean PA, Robert W. (Leslie) Chappel of Chesterland OH, and Mrs. Robert (Sylvia) McKee of Henderson NV as well as several nieces and nephews and beloved friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Paula Jeanne Chappel, L. Edward Chappel, Mary Louise Chappel Fischer, and Margaret Rose (Peg) Chappel Brown.

Respecting the wishes of Steve, the family will be privately honoring his life, with family services to be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
