Sharon L. (McConnell) Walls

Sharon L. Walls, Greenville (Hempfield Twp.) passed away in the comfort of her home with her family by her side on Friday evening, October 1, 2021.  She was 71.

Sharon was born in Greenville on June 29, 1950, a daughter of the late James E. McConnell.  On September 12, 1969, she married John A. Walls who survives.  She was a homemaker, who had a special love for animals and appreciated the companionship of her dog “Maggie”.  Sharon was an avid euchre player, enjoying and appreciating the fellowship of her card club group.   She enjoyed gardening and her family and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greenville.

She is survived by her husband John; two sons, Craig Walls, Greenville and James Walls and his fiancé Marlene Gaggini, Mercer; her sister, Patty Beatty and her husband Gary, Greenville and a granddaughter, Lindsey Gaggini, Mercer.

She was preceded in death by her father, James E. McConnell.

Respecting the wishes of Sharon, there will be no services.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.

The family has suggested that memorial tributes in memory of Sharon may be made to Strayhaven Inc. 94 Donation Road, Greenville, PA.
