Ryan Nathaniel Burns, Sharpsville passed away Friday morning, July 21, 2023, at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was 37.
Ryan was born in Greenville on October 15, 1985, a son of Robert J. and Robin L. (Osborn) Burns. He was a 2004 graduate of Commodore Perry High School and the Mercer County Career Center where he studied auto mechanics. Ryan had been employed through the years, at Mercer Forge, Carolina Carports, R.D. Werner, Company, and most recently at Forms and Services and also as a farm hand for Lazy Acres Farms, Greenville. He was active in his younger years in Cub Scouts and Webelos and enjoyed playing little league baseball. A talented mechanic, Ryan possessed mechanical skills that allowed him to be able to fix almost anything. His favorite activity was listening to music and studying the history of the music he listened to.
He is survived by a daughter, Presley, Transfer; his father, Rob Burns, Pittsburgh; his mother, Robin Colley, and her companion John Gory, Sharpsville; his paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Burns, Greenville; his siblings, Chris (Claire) Osborn, Greenville, Brandon (Brittany) Burns, Jamestown, Vanessa Gory, Youngstown and Ashley Gory, Sharpsville; his nieces and nephews, Hunter, Sawyer and Leslie Burns, Andrew, Bob, Chris Osborn and Morrie Lumanog and a great nephew, Hudson Osborn. Many aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Juanita Osborn and Paul F. Burns, his stepfather, Jim Colley, and a cousin, Jason Burns.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville. He will be laid to rest at the Stevenson Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
