Ruth Irene Carlson formerly of Conneaut Lake passed away early Thursday morning, April 21, 2022, at the Villas at St. Paul’s, Greenville. She was 91.

Ruth was born in Fairfield Twp. on April 10, 1931, a daughter of the late Oscar Henry and Marion (Russell) Schiefelkin. For many years she had been employed in sales for Western Southern Life Insurance and then went on to work in home health care at the Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville from where she retired.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Gail) Ennis, Hadley; a daughter in law, Barbara Ennis, Meadville; 5 grandchildren, Robbie Ennis, Katina Ennis, Tyler (Julie) Ennis, Sheree (Mark) Workman, Cristy (Scott) Anderson and a great grandson; a close friend and care giver Pamela.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Howard Ennis.

The family will be privately honoring the life of Ruth. She will be laid to rest at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
