Rudolph R. Troples, Jr., Hadley, Deer Creek Twp. passed away at the Andover Villages, Andover, OH on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was 80.
He was born in Greenville on October 17, 1942, a son of the late Rudolph R. and Kathleen L. (Luce) Troples. On December 27, 1976, he married the former Lois A. Barlow who preceded him in death on October 18, 2011.
Mr. Troples had been employed at the former Greenville Steel Car and Rusco Industries, he then went on to be a self-employed private contractor in the construction trades and finished his working career at Shaw Environmental. He loved to hunt and was a member of the former Deer Creek Archery Club, enjoyed raising and showing horses and was an avid fan of all types of races, and served as his son’s crew chief racing stock cars.
He is survived by his children, Terri (Frank) Fragassi, Taylor, MI, Shannon Krolikowski, Delray Beach, FL., Rudolph R. (Lindy) Troples, III, Hadley and Eric (Patty) Troples, Saegertown; 3 step-children, Brenda (Brad) Greene, Salisbury, SC., Carolyn (Troy) Unger, Cochranton and Catherine (Jake) Roberts, Clarks Mills; 3 sisters, Helen Troples, Hadley, Christine Troples, CA. and Merrianne Troples, FL; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois, and a son-in-law John Krolikowski.
No services will be held. The Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville has been entrusted with assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
