Robert “Robbie” Lee McElhatten, 45, of Cochranton, passed away January 27, 2026. He was born March 2, 1980 to Robert Kenneth McElhatten and Cynthia Beth McElhatten (Pearsol).
Robbie loved music and good food. He enjoyed cooking, mountain biking, fly fishing, golfing, and snowboarding. He was a Life Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow with Pack 224. He was a member of South Station 9 and a fan of the MASH Boys Volleyball Team.
In his twenties, he cycled across the Western United States on the Cycle America SAG crew. He was trained in waterfront rescue and outdoor emergency care. Robbie owned Handyman LLC and specialized in slate roof restoration.
He was known to his friends as a helper, someone they could always call when they needed help. They also enjoyed his exceptional cooking.
Robbie is survived by a large circle of friends and family who loved him dearly and who will miss him deeply, including his partner, Nicolle Wood Gosnell, and her sons, Ian and Parker; mother, Cynthia; father, Robert; stepmother, Rhonda; sister, Kimberly; brother-in-law, Shane Stoehr; niece, Tyler (Michael) Hoffman; half-brother, Theodore; stepsister, Brooke Devantier; and his beloved pets, Zoey and Francis.

A Celebration of Life for Robert (Robbie) L. McElhatten will be held Saturday, June 6, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Meadville Sportsmen's Club.
