Phillip D. Leise of Lake Road, Hadley, PA passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident Sunday March 15th, 2020. He was 58 years old.
Phillip was born October 10th, 1961 in Greenville, PA, a son of the late Hope and Martha (Bish) Leise. He married Catherine (McMullen) Leise, who preceded him in death on October 1, 1997. He subsequently married Kathy (Wallace) Leise. Philip was a Commodore Perry Graduate. He was a farmer, working on his family homestead for over 30 years. He later worked as an over the road truck driver at Adesa, before driving for Brown Towing Company. An avid woodworker, Phillip enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was very fond of his John Deere tractors. He attended Oasis S.L.W. Church in Meadville, PA.
Phillip is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Nicholas Leise and Gregory Leise of Hadley, stepdaughter Sarah Joy Stallsmith of Florida, sister Kim Barnhart of Pittsburgh, and brother Peter and his wife Lisa of Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David Barnhart.
A Celebration of Phillip’s life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Cochranton Community Church, 3393 E. Church Street, Cochranton. The service will also be live streamed at https://ccubchurch.org
