Patricia Jean (Hawkins) Bartholomew

Patricia J. Bartholomew, age 74, Stoneboro, passed away Wednesday evening, July 28, 2021, at the Allegheny General Hospital from complication from a fall.

Patricia was born in Sandy Creek Twp. on September 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Edward Clifton and Sarah Elizabeth (Scott) Hawkins.  She had attended Commodore Perry and Conneaut Lake Schools.  On April 30, 1965, she was united in marriage to Judson G. (Judd) Bartholomew who preceded her in death on March 1, 2011.

Patricia was a loving and devoted wife and mother and spent most of her life as a homemaker and later in life entered the workforce as a restroom attendant until having retired.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved cats and dogs.

She is survived by three daughters, Sarah Jean Elkins and her husband Rex, Damascus, Virginia, Donna Marie Panner of Waterford and Brenda Sue Bartholomew, Stoneboro; three sisters, Elizabeth Turner and her husband James, Meadville, Ella Marie Ward and her husband Kenneth and Shirley Turner, both of Cochranton. Two brothers, Charles Hawkins and his wife Barb, Conneaut Lake and Ralph Hawkins and his wife Vicky, Conneautville; one aunt, Patsy Caughey, Milton, Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, Darlene Faye Bitnec; an infant brother; a half - brother, James Edward Hawkins; two brother-in-laws, James M. Bitnec and William F. Turner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with her cousin’s, Jack Grossman and Don Scott officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Hadley Cemetery.  Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
