Patricia B. Clark Alexander, Mercer, (Fairview Twp.) passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2020 in the comfort of her daughter’s home with her family by her side. She was 83.
She was born in Greenville on August 10, 1936 a daughter of the late Harold H. and Mary A. (Kerr) Nevin. She was a 1955 graduate of the former Penn High School. On October 14, 2006 she married James Alexander who she adored dearly and cherished their 14 years of marriage. She attended the Mercer United Methodist Church, she was a former member and leader of Christmas Child with Missions, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading, working outside, gardening and bird watching. She was also a lover of Burger King and diet coke.
She is survived by her husband, James; a daughter Debbie (Hodge) Snyder and her husband Kevin of Greenville; a son, H. William “Bill” Hodge and his wife Tammy of Greenville; two step sons, James Alexander and his wife Mary Beth, Fredonia and Terry Alexander and his wife Shelby, Fredonia; a sister, Judy (Kerr) Millero and her husband Richard of Greenville, two half sisters, Mary Ann Spain and Betty Lukz, both of Ohio; several grandchildren and step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles B. Hodge; a grandson Brandon Hodge and a great grandson, Kaden.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Pat Confer, retired minister officiating. She will be laid to rest at America’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
