Nancy A. (Bleakney) Harris

Nancy A. Harris of Fredonia passed away on Saturday evening, August 17, 2024, at Quality Life Services in Grove City. She was 68 years old.

Nancy was born in Meadville on April 18, 1956, to the late Donald E. and Lois G. (Kelley) Bleakney. On November 2, 2019, she married Greg Harris, who survives her. For over 34 years, Nancy owned and operated the Fredonia Diner and catered for many weddings and local events. She was an active member of the Fredonia Community and a member of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church. After retiring from the diner, Nancy enjoyed camping with her husband and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; a sister, Sandra Stilwell, and her husband Richard of Cornelius, NC; a son, Patrick Modara; a daughter-in-law, Sabrina Modara, both of Fredonia; two very special grandchildren, Maxwell and Lola Modara, of Fredonia; and a nephew, Jonathan Stilwell, and his wife Brittanie, of Tampa, Florida.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 24 Water Street, Fredonia, with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest at the Millbank Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and an additional visitation on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
