Nancy A. (Bromley) Baker

Nancy A. Baker, of Fredonia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Greystone Country Estates. She was 83 years old.

Born on April 2, 1943, in Sharon, Nancy was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Patterson) Bromley. On April 6, 1963, she married Raymond “Bud” Baker, Jr., and together they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing in 2021.

Nancy dedicated many years of her career to Adesa Auto Auction, where she worked as a title clerk and payroll clerk before retiring. She was a devoted and active member of Emmanuel Christian Church. In her free time, Nancy found joy in gardening, sewing, and crocheting.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Craig (Belinda) Baker of Meadville; Kelly Baker Patterson of Greenville; and Clint (Jenny) Baker of Fredonia. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Fisher, Espyville; two brothers, John Bromley, Fredonia and Lloyd (Judy) Bromley, Mercer; two sister-in-laws, Bonnie Campbell, Fredonia and Mary Shilling, Venice; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Longstreth, Chad Baker, Bradley (Shelby) Patterson, Kelsey (Kaleb) Williams, Paige Baker, Caden Baker, and Joe (Candice) Folmar; and eight great-grandchildren: Abagail, Jackson, Lincoln, and Olivia Longstreth; Kenneth and Owen Patterson; Audrey Williams; Oakley Baker; and Axel Folmar.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Baker, and her sister, Erla Jean King.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Christian Church 4495 Sandy Lake Greenville Rd, Stoneboro, officiated by Rev. Tim Clark. Family and friends are invited to call at the church on Wednesday, May 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.
