Mildred Grace (Logan) Nolan, Stoneboro, (Sandy Lake Twp.) passed away early Thursday morning, February 3, 2022, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was 80.
She was born in Corry, PA on August 15, 1941, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Thompson) Logan. She was a 1959 graduate of the Corry Area High School and appreciated the closeness of her classmates over the years, always looking forward to the many gatherings that they would have. On January 19, 1963, she married William J. Nolan who survives. Mrs. Nolan was a homemaker and after her children were raised, she owned and operated her own business. She always enjoyed and looked forward to the times she could be with her family and friends. She attended the Polk Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband of 59 years, William, she is survived by her children, William Nolan, Jr., Curtisville, David (Dori) Nolan, Spartanburg. Christine (Robert) Foust, Stoneboro and Jennifer (JB) Harrold, Markleton; three sisters, Margaret (Joel) Alsdorf, Spartansburg, Elouise (Philip) Pilcher, OH and Barbara (William) Hilton, VA; 8 grandchildren, Laura, Marie, Adam, Hunter, Dan, Tyler, Jon and Ally and two great grandchildren, Ryan and Rylinn and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mildred will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Polk Presbyterian Church, 729 Main Street, Polk with Rev. Larry Myers officiating. A time of fellowship and a meal will follow and the family invites those in attendance to attend.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to the Polk Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund for Education Assistance, P.O. Box 1027, Polk, PA 16342.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
