Michael A. McClure

Michael A. McClure, Fredonia (Fairview Twp.) passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence on Monday, August 8, 2022.  He was 71.

He was born in Mercer on February 21, 1951, a son of the late Andrew J and Loma J. (Anderson) McClure.  He was a 1969 graduate of Lakeview High School.  He had been employed as a Respiratory Therapist at the former Greenville Hospital and then went onto obtain a degree in electronic and was employed by Matrix, Franklin from where he had retired.  Michael had also owned and operated the Fredonia Dinor and Pizza Shop.  He was a member of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by a sister, Andrea (Bruce) Philson, Mercer; two brothers, Bruce (Anya) McClure, Schrewsbury and Brian (Patty) McClure, Fredonia; 11 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Roxanne Lee Buchanan and a brother, Steven R. McClure.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating.  

The family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to the Fredonia Vol. Fire Department or to the Fredonia Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia, PA.
