Mary "Joan" Little

Mary “Joan” Little, 91, of Fredonia, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2026, at Greystone Country Estates.

She was born in Stoneboro on October 28, 1934, to the late Walter J. and Mary B. (Gallagher) Rohrbach, Sr.. Joan graduated from Sandy Lake High School. On August 1, 1953, she married Glenn H. Kaltenbaugh, who preceded her in death in 2014.

Joan began working at Floyd Gordon’s dairy farm in New Lebanon and later became a baker at Grantham’s Landing Restaurant in 1985. She attended the Milledgeville Community Church in Carlton.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Kaltenbaugh of Clarks Mills and Gary (Kimberly) Kaltenbaugh of Greenville; four grandchildren, Samuel (Tabitha) Ziegler, Sarah Crotts, Chelsea Kaltenbaugh, and Steven (Angie) Kaltenbaugh; and three great-grandchildren, Peyton and Austin Deeter and Elizabeth Kaltenbaugh.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kaltenbaugh; a son, Harry Kaltenbaugh; sisters, Ellen Williams and Jean Firster; and brothers, Henry Rohrbach, Walter J. Rohrbach, Jr. and Michael Heim.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville, with Pastor Glenn Walker officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Joan will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery.
