Mary A. Kaltenbaugh

Mary A. Kaltenbaugh, Clarks Mills, New Vernon Twp. passed away early Tuesday morning, January 3, 2023, at the UPMC-Shadyside, Pittsburgh.  She was 62.

She was born in Greenville on July 29, 1960, a daughter of Glenn H and Joan (Rohrbach) Kaltenbaugh.  Mary had begun working as a custodian for Lakeview High School and then went on to a career as a long-distance truck driver, working for Joy Cone, Metropolitan, Koch, and Heartland.  Throughout her career, she was able to make many trucking friends, whose friendship she valued.  She liked gardening and canning and enjoyed children, especially being fond of the moments she shared with her nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephew.   Mary always appreciated family get-togethers and would host the annual 4th of July gathering at her home.  She also appreciated the companionship of her dogs, Jessie, and Jackie.

She is survived by her son, Samuel (Tabatha) Ziegler, Clairton; her mother, Joan Little, Fredonia; two brothers, Larry Kaltenbaugh, Clarks Mills, and Gary (Kimberly) Kaltenbaugh, Greenville.; two nieces, Sarah Crotts and Chelsea Kaltenbaugh and a nephew, Steven ( Angie) Kaltenbaugh and three great nieces and nephews, Peyton Deeter, Austin Deeter, and Elizabeth Kaltenbaugh.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Harry Kaltenbaugh.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Pastor Glenn Walker officiating.  Mary will be laid to rest at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 PM and are invited to share memories and condolences online at www.snyderfh.com
