Margaret Blair Obituary

Margaret A. Blair, of Meadville, Vernon Township, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 15, 2026. She was 79.

Margaret was born in Geneva, Pennsylvania, on September 29, 1946, a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Atkins) Williams. On June 12, 1965, she married Douglas B. Blair, who preceded her in death on August 8, 2010.

Together with her husband, Margaret co-owned Do-Co, Inc. Following his death, she assumed ownership and continued the business.

Margaret loved her family and was an exceptionally proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never hesitated to share stories about her family with others. She enjoyed playing bingo, loved flowers, and cherished spending time with those she loved.

Affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as “Auntie Margaret” and “Aunt Muggsy,” she enjoyed traveling and accompanying her husband as they cruised in their 1977½ Ford Mustang Cobra. She was also an avid collector of dolls and antique red Depression glass.

She is survived by her children, Java Lynn (Donald) Dean of Centerville, Jona Lane (Robert) Hall of Cochranton, Jenelle Lee (Owen) Nelson of Meadville, and Joie Loren (Ryan) Grinnell of Hadley; her grandchildren, Douglas Allen (Stephanie) Blair, Jala Lynn (Earl) Davis, Tai Lane Dean and her companion, Chris Nuzback, Brittny Loree (Matt) Reagle, Trestan Ann (Brady) Fitzsimmons, Dakota Lee Hall, Shae Rianne (John) Mott, Trelyn Dare Nelson, Trevis Owen (Mikada) Nelson, Zane Hunter Grinnell and his fiancée, Brooke Schrock, and Trent Blair Nelson; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Williams, and a sister, Linda Cloud.

The funeral celebrating the life of Margaret will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Robert L.
