M. Lorraine Hans, Hadley, Perry Twp. passed away Saturday evening, August 2, 2025, at Kadima at Greenville. She was 86.
She was born in Greenville on April 7, 1939, a daughter of the late Floyd E and Mary (Wright) Foust, Sr. On August 31, 1957, she married H. Daniel Hans, who survives, and together they shared nearly 68 years of marriage. Lorraine had been employed as a secretary at the First National Bank of Greenville and then went on to be employed by Spang Power Equipment, formerly known as Magnetics, Sandy Lake. She was a member of the Clarks Mill Community Church.
Lorraine enjoyed gardening, tending to her floral beds, and singing. She was an excellent cook, her family was an integral part of her life, and as her grandchildren grew up, she was an avid supporter of their school and sporting activities.
In addition to her husband, Daniel, she is survived by her daughter, Debra (Randy) Eddinger, Greenville; two grandchildren, Justin McIntire, Jamestown and Brett (Drew) Eddinger, Bellefonte; four great grandchildren, Morgan McIntire, Trent McIntire, Reed Eddinger and Rex Eddinger and two brothers, Richard (Nancy) Foust, Stoneboro and Charles Foust, Sandy Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Bernice Hancock, and 5 brothers, Everett Foust, Blaine Foust, Floyd Foust, Jr., Howard Foust, and Thomas Foust.
The funeral and committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, with Pastor Michael Holley of the Clarks Mill Community Church officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Hadley Cemetery. The visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
