LuAnn Spiegel

LuAnn Spiegel, Greenville (Perry Twp.) passed way early Thursday morning, March 3, 2022, in the comfort of her home. She was 65.

LuAnn was born in Butler on April 22, 1956, a daughter of Norman R. and Betty (Clark) Ziegler, Sr.  In 1975 she married Rodney McCandless who preceded her in death in 1986.  LuAnn subsequently married Richard Spiegel on December 15, 2000, who survives.  She had been employed and retired from the Betres Group Butler where she was the office manager and had worked along side her husband Rich in the ownership and daily operations of Spiegel Carpet, Sandy Lake.   She enjoyed reading and travelling, and always enjoyed the times she was able to share with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Rich, she is survived by her children, Timothy (Sherri) McCandless, Slippery Rock and Lenee McCandless and her partner, Josh Andres, Sandy Lake; her mother, Betty Bollinger, Butler; her siblings, Richard Ziegler, Butler, Norman E. Ziegler, Greenville, Wayne Ziegler, Butler, Stephen Ziegler, Greenville, Robert Ziegler, Milledgeville, Barbara Ziegler, NC., Thomas Ziegler and his wife Benita, NC., Sam Ziegler and his wife Tabitha of Clairton; 4 grandchildren, Alex McCandless, Tyler McCandless, Nate McCandless and Rowan Andres and a grandson due to be born in April.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rodney and her father, Norman.

Family and friends may call at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm where a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm.
