Louise Washkevich, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, formerly of Fredonia passed away on October 20, 2024, at Carolina East. She was born on September 12, 1927, in Browns Summit, North Carolina, to the late William Thomas and Earla Mae Hudson. On August 1 o, 1946, Louise married Fred Washkevich in Gibsonville, North Carolina, and then, together, moved to Pennsylvania.
Fred preceded Louise in death on March 9, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, Lousie was preceded in death by her brother, Willie V. Hudson, and two sisters, Katie Ozment and Elizabeth Robertson.
Louise is survived by her daughter Toni W. Ross (Bill) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, one grand-daughter Molly M. -Milligan (Annette Henson) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and one step granddaughter Kelly Davis (Corey) of Whitewater, Wisconsin. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and three step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia with Keith Cashdollar officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia.
