Lois Jean (Williams) Bradley-Shull

Lois Jean Williams Bradley-Shull, age 86, of Meadville PA passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 9, 2022 following an extended illness. 

She was born in Meadville on July 5, 1936 to Thelston (Jim) and Dorothea Powell Williams.  She graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1954. Lois was employed as a Bell Telephone long distance operator from 1955 to 1980 and subsequently worked as a columnist for The Cochranton Scroll and for Dr. Dean in Cochranton, and The American Cancer Society and Vantage Health Care Systems in Meadville before retiring.  She enjoyed traveling, acrylic painting, crafts, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was married to Alvin Bradley who preceded her in death and was the father of their children Lisa Bradley-Schroeck (David) of Meadville PA,  Wendy McLaren (Kevin) of Crimora, VA, and Anita Stefanelli (Anthony) of Erie, PA   In 2011 she married Paul Shull who survives.  Besides her children and husband, she is survived by grandchildren Kaylee and Alec McLaren, Emily Stefanelli, and Dante and Milan Stefanelli, in addition to great grandchildren Brinlee and Bradley Jones.  She is also survived by her sisters Carolyn Eldridge of Meadville PA,  Nancy Dalton (Tom) of Cochranton PA, and Cheryl Sperry of Cochranton PA, stepchildren Bert Shull (Janet) of Flagstaff, Arizona and Gary Shull (Leann) of Reno, NV and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Moore, brother-in- law Charles Eldridge and brother-in-law John Moore.

The family extends much love and gratitude to the special caregivers who were devoted to her over many months.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville  from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with pastor Julie Lamberson, New Beginnings Church of God, Meadville officiating.  Lois will be laid to rest at the Williams Cemetery.
