Linda F. Waldorf

Linda F. Waldorf, Grove City, departed this earthly life on August 30, 2024, for the kingdom of heaven. She was 73.

She was born on July 7, 1951, in Greenville, the daughter of the late Leroy A. and Doris H. (Adams) Waldorf Jr.

Linda was a proud Commodore Perry Panther graduate, Class of 1969.  She attended Edinboro College, Farrell.

Linda was a lifelong member of Zion’s UCC, Transfer.  

She was a talented seamstress who made the dresses that her daughter and nieces started kindergarten in. Linda had a lifelong passion for the New York Yankees; she never went to bed without checking the Yankees' score.

She is survived by a daughter, Shannon (Allen) Fleming, Grove City, sisters Marilynn Roae, Erie and Pamela (Gary) Williamson, Meadville. A sister-in-law, Darlene Waldorf, Grandson Michael Crispen, Colorado Springs, CO and her grandkids with fur, Ziggy J and Tillie.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers J. Edward, Charles W., and James L. Waldorf, and her constant companion Winnie Rosebud.

Her family would like to thank AHN Hospice Homecare for the exceptional care and support they provided Linda and her family during her final days.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Zion’s UCC, 17 Church St.  Transfer, PA.

The family has suggested that memorial tributes in Linda’s name can be made to Days for Girls, 233 George Junior Road, Grove City, PA, 16127.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
