Linda G. (Runyan) Cidila

Linda G. Cidila, of Sharpsville, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at Sharon Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was 73.

Linda was born in Sharon, PA on September 2, 1951, to the late Samuel and Eleanor (Weaver) Runyan. She married Robert L. Cidila, Sr., on June 14, 1969, who survives. She loved her family and spending time with them.

 She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time reading, knitting and crocheting. She had a soft spot for animals, particularly horses. Linda was a member of the Sharpsville Nazarene Church where, over the years, she taught ladies’ ministry, helped with Sunday school and served as Secretary and Treasurer.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years; their children, Christina Hoffman and husband Jeff of Fredonia, Connie Cidila of Sharon, and Catherine Cidila and partner Stephenie of Sharpsville; a sister Tracey Prezioso and husband Rodney of Hermitage; a brother, James Schultz and wife Dawn of New York; six grandchildren, Nickolas Herald, Robert Cidila III, Domenic Cidila, Emma Leanna Cidila, Ashley Bobak and Veronia Sterba; and four great grandchildren, Xavier Verrill, Cai Sterba, Teo Sterba and Ryu Sterba.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert Cidila Jr., a sister, Darlene Lyons and a brother, Samuel Runyan.

The funeral service will be held on August 29, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, with Pastor Len Powell of the Sharpsville Nazarene Church officiating.  Linda will be laid to rest at the Hadley Cemetery.  The visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
