Lillian J. (Clawson) McJunkin

Lillian J. (Clawson)  McJunkin, of Fairview Township, Fredonia, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Sharon Regional Hospital. She was 92.

Lillian was born in Greensburg PA on January 3, 1931. A daughter of the late Chalmer V. and Grace (Lydick) Clawson. On November 25, 1959, she married Walter Wallace McJunkin, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2008, after 48 years of marriage.  

Lillian worked as Head of Housekeeping at Howard Johnson in Mercer, and then Sheraton Inn in West Middlesex. She went on to work at Ugite of Mercer and was the Auditor for Fairview Township. She enjoyed attending the local card club and sewing. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star,  Stoneboro Chapter.

She is survived by a daughter, Sheree Lynn Cusick of Sharpsville; four sons, Kerry W. Boura and his wife Patricia of Greenville, Robert K. Boura and his wife Katherine of Lawrence, VA, James W. McJunkin and his wife Carla of Park Ridge, IL, David M. McJunkin and his wife Sheila of Fredonia; 10 grandchildren, Adam Boura, Diana Boura, Angela Gudzinas (Jed), Aaron Boura (Jenni), Gary Cusick, Lisa Gannon (Jay), James W. McJunkin, Jr. (Nicole), Jared McJunkin, Jonathan McJunkin, David M. McJunkin, Jr. (Tiffany) , and Stephanie McJunkin; 25 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, her former husband, William Boura, son in law, Kim Cusick, grandson, Timothy Boura, and great grandson, Kaylub Cusick.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 12:30 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second St., Fredonia with Pastor Jim Fleck officiating. She will be laid to rest at Millbank Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00-12:30 time of service.
