Keri Kusich Obituary

Keri L. Kusich, Greenville passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, December 26, 2023, at the UPMC Horizon, Greenville.  She was 39.

She was born on October 15, 1984, a daughter of Nicholas J. and Barbara A. (Foust) Kusich, Jr.  She was a 2003 graduate of Greenville High School.  She had most recently been employed at Arby’s Greenville and had previously worked at KFC, Hermitage, and Warren.  She was a member of the Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville.  Keri was strong willed, resilient, and full of life, she was known for her hugs and caring personality.  She very much loved her family and was an active and staunch supporter of her children’s sports activities and is remembered by her children as being a “loud” sports Mom. She enjoyed her dog, Ruby who would always be at the door to greet her and her cat, Nala.

She is survived by her long-time companion, Byron P. Moss, Sr., Greenville; her children, Frankie T. Ellis, Greenville, Eternity S. Moss, Greenville, Kyrin J. Moss, Greenville; her mother, Barbara Shrock and husband, Daniel, Greenville; her sister, Nikki Callen, and her husband, Carl J., Transfer; her step mother, Joan Kusich, Greenville, maternal grandfather, Thomas G. Foust, Transfer, maternal grandmother, Nancy J. Fisher, Greenville, paternal grandfather, Nicholas J. Kusich, Sr., Greenville; a niece and nephew, Caitlyn and JJ Callen, Transfer.  Many aunts, uncles and cousin are left to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas J. Kusich, Jr., and her paternal grandmother, Nellie Kusich.

A Celebration of Keri’s life will be held at the Hillside Presbyterian Church, 2 North High Street, Greenville on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will be received at the church from 9:30 am until 11:00 AM time of service.   Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com
