Kathleen M. Bartholomew, Greenville, Sandy Creek Twp. passed away Tuesday evening, May 21, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was 81.
She was born on August 10, 1942, a daughter of the late Clinton W. and Olive M. (Fritz) Bishop. She was a 1960 graduate of Commodore Perry High School. Kathleen had retired from the Housecleaning Department at the Meadville Medical Center following 35 years of service. She also had been a school bus driver for the Commodore Perry School District from 1968 – 1970 and the Conneaut Lake School District from 1972 -1975 and 1981 – 2000. She was an active member of the North Salem United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and participating in the many cantatas over the years.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Marie (Jeff) Hunt, Meadville, and Joanne Lynn Bickerton, and her significant other, Joseph Frost, Jamestown; a brother Glenn (Wilma) Bishop, Greenville; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Bickerton and her husband Zachary Gill, Justin Bartholomew and his significant other, Makia Whitmore and Elizabeth Waid; 4 great-grandchildren, Natalie and Damien Bickerton and Aubree and Adalynn Bartholomew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brandon Bickerton.
The funeral and committal service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Sally Bell, pastor of the North Salem United Methodist Church officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
