Joyce Lucille (Riley) Kaltenbaugh

Joyce Lucille Kaltenbaugh, 82, of Clarks Mills passed away at UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle, on Saturday, July 1, 2023 surrounded by family.

Joyce was born on May 21, 1941, to the late Sylvia and Raymond Riley. She married John Raymond Kaltenbaugh Sep 3, 1957. She retired from Garvin Industries in 2007 and then took to the road. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Telling everyone they better not ask her to go along if they didn't mean it. She was an avid yard saler and could spot a bargain from a mile away. She relished her role as Mom, Gram, Grammy, and Big MeeMaw. Spending time with the youngest of her extended family was her favorite pass time. She was also a regular at Prime Timers and could often be found having lunch with friends and family all referred to as "the girls". She also loved time spent around the fire at the family camp.

Survivors include her children Valerie (Garry) Bartholomew of Sandy Lake, Peggy Sue (Ron) Greggs of Greenville, John Jr "Mooch" Kaltenbaugh of Clarks Mills, Diana (David) Metz of Clarks Mills, Ronald Kaltenbaugh of Greenville, and David Kaltenbaugh of Clarks Mills; grandchildren Melissa, Joisanne, Renee, Saidey, and Kalynn; great-grandchildren Gage, Mercedes, Avery, and Ezra; and sister Barb.

She is preceded in death by her husband John; six brothers Robert "Red", Walter, Wilber "Shrimp", Homer, Victor, and Dale; sister Lily; and great-granddaughter Melody.
