Joseph McDivitt Obituary

Joseph D. McDivitt, French Creek Twp, Utica passed away at his residence on Wednesday, August 31,
2022. He was 57.

He was born in Meadville on December 25, 1964 a son of the late Marian (Shearer) and Harry McDivitt, Sr. He had been employed by Hollabaugh Logging and then went onto own and operate J.D. McDivitt Hauling and Excavating. He enjoyed being able to operate his heavy equipment. Mr. McDivitt enjoyed his morning breakfast gatherings with his friends at Grantham's landing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He attended the Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church.

He is survived by his siblings, Debra C. (Tim) Groger, Utica, Susan J. (Don) Hall, Guys Mills and Daniel
McDivitt, Utica and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Randy, Jackie, Harry, Jr. and Charles and a sister, Connie Miller.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
