Jeffrey D. Harnett

Jeffrey Harnett, 70, of North Huntingdon formerly of Hadley, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023.

He was born November 24, 1952, in Greenville, PA, a son of James Harnett and the late Nancy (McManigle) Harnett. Prior to his retirement, Jeff was a cytotechnologist for the University Health Center of Cleveland and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed hunting, grain farming, truck and tractor pulling, visiting wineries, and traveling.

 In addition to his father James, Jeff is survived by his companion, Deborah Daerr Ackerman; a son, Chad Harnett (Sarah Walsh); his brother, Jim (Paula) Harnett; a sister, Melissa (Gary) Ustik; a granddaughter, Riley Harnett; and a niece, Andrea Harnett and her husband John Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandson, Connor.

 A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com.
