Janet Lynn Kleinhans, Hadley (Sandy Creek Twp.) passed away at the Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, Wednesday evening, February 24, 2021. She was 74.
Janet was born in Port Clinton, OH on September 14, 1946 a daughter of the late Alvin and Nellie (Holmes) Nehls. On January 8, 1966 she married Marvin H. Kleinhans, who survives. She was a homemaker and helped operate the family farm in Sandy Creek Twp., she also had operated the restaurant at the Mercer Livestock Auction for 15 years. She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed collecting antiques, enjoyed weaving rag rugs and attending craft shows.
She is survived by her husband Marvin; a daughter Nellie Jane Sauer and her husband James, Sandy Lake; two sons, Jeremy Kleinhans and his companion, Debbie Schweitzer, Hadley and David Kleinhans and his wife Anna, Jefferson, OH; a sister, Diane Carson and her husband John of Kenton, OH; two brothers, David Nehls and his wife Judy, FL and Rev. Timothy Nehls and his wife Bev, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents: a sister Joan; a brother, Robert and her mother and father in law, Harold and Evelyn Kleinhans.
Private graveside services will be held at the Hadley Cemetery with Rev. Kent Bell, pastor of Bethel Life Worship Center officiating. Janet will be laid to rest at the Hadley Cemetery.
