Jane G. (Warren) McCracken

Jane G. McCracken, of Hadley, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Greystone Country Estates surrounded by her loving family. She was 89.

Jane was born in Geneva on June 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Carl and Mildred (Adsit) Warren. On December 26, 1953, Jane married Lawrence “Ray” McCracken, with whom she shared nearly 70 years of marriage before his passing in October of 2022.

Jane had several jobs throughout the years, including both Talon and Visco of Meadville, the Plant Place, Meadville, Sammy & Cream ice cream shop in Sandy Lake, as well as a waitress at the Log Cabin restaurant in Conneaut Lake Park.  She was an avid crafter, who enjoyed scrapbooking and making beautiful flower arrangements. She was also a member of the Sheakleyville United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kim Ende, Sheakleyville, Lisa (Ray) Mozes, Greenville, and Andrea (Randall) Greathouse, Conneaut Lake; a daughter in law, Lauri McCracken, Geneva; nine grandchildren, Erica (Sean) Santiago, Fulton, MD, Charlene (Thomas) Breakiron, Grove City, Shawna (Jeremy) Mook, Linesville, Dylan (Billie Jo) McCracken, West Springfield, Cassandra Mozes, Grove City, OH, Alexander Mozes, Walton Hills, OH, Julia Mozes, Cleveland, Parker (fiancé Paige) Greathouse, Greenville, and Kelsey Greathouse, Conneaut Lake; six great grandchildren, Mason and Malia Santiago, Nate and Nicole Giddings, Ashton Mook and Addy Breakiron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, a son, Perry McCracken, a son in law, Thomas Ende, and her twin sister, Jean Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, with Mike Holley, pastor of the Clarks Mills Community Church officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Sheakleyville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 pm time of service.
