James P. "Jim" Whitlock Obituary
James P "Jim" Whitlock age 65 of Pitcairn, passed away March 15, 2023 at Transitions Healthcare in Washington Pa.
Born in Greenville Pa on September 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Frank and Oleva (McBride) Whitlock. He graduated from Commodore Perry High School and Thiel College. He worked for K-Mart and was a truck driver for Schneider National. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Margaret "Peggy" (Dern) Whitlock; children Ryan (Noko) Whitlock of Japan, and Chad (Heather Quear) Whitlock, Beaver Pa. and Marissa (Dave Mullinax) Whitlock of Fineview, Ron Preisach of East McKeesport and Robin (Ron) Gehry of Turtle Creek; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild due in July; and sister Jane (Michael) Sturgin of Clarks Mills.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 13 at Sheakleyville Presbyterian Church, 3233 Perry Hwy. Sheakleyville with Rev. Janice Good officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church from 11:00 AM till 11:30 times of service. Plan to fellowship with a luncheon following the service in the church social hall.
