James D. Stowell, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at UPMC Montefiore. He was 43.
James was born in Greenville on April 26, 1978, a son of Kenneth and Marilyn Stowell. He married Nicole Buck on March 15, 2014, who survives.
James was an avid Brown’s fan who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family, and particularly enjoyed spending time with his nieces. James had two cats, Bubba and Remi, who he affectionately referred to as his paw children. James was also known for putting up his Christmas tree on Halloween weekend. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole and her parents, Hope and Bob Buck, his father, Kenneth Stowell, of Crystal River Fl, three brothers; Kenneth Stowell of Pittsburgh, Bill (Holly) Bungar of Lecanto, FL and Ron Bungar of PA, three nieces; Savannah Jean, Skye Alexandria, and Ember Rose, two sisters in law; Samantha Buck and Kaylee Buck and a brother-in-law; Fred Means of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
