James Gall Obituary

James M. Gall, of Greenwood Twp., Cochranton, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home. He was 72.

Jim was born in Pittsburgh on November 1, 1953, a son of the late Martin and Anna (Wankulitz) Gall. He was married to the former Penny L. Roberts. Jim was employed by Channel Lock in Meadville for 25 years and he liked to work on cars in his spare time. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was very proud of their military service. He enjoyed being outdoors; hunting, fishing, and camping in Tideoute.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shawna Hay and husband Nick of Cochranton; a brother, Richard Gall and wife Aleta of Hadley; two grandsons, Tyler Hays and wife Rachelle and Trey Hays and wife Lanie; a great granddaughter, Lilli Calvin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Gall; a brother, Martin Gall and a sister Carol A Kolaun.

There will be a private family graveside service, and he will be laid to rest at Sheakleyville Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com.
