Jack H. Consider, Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, March 8, 2025, at the Kadima Health Care, Greenville. He was 83.
He was born in Meadville on January 5, 1942, and was the son of the late Gerald and Evelyn (Henry) Consider. On March 1, 1975, he married the former Mary E. Goodermote, and they shared 50 years together. Jack had been employed by the former Greenville Steel Car and later Trinity Industries, from where he retired. He was a member of the St. Clements Episcopal Church, Greenville, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the former State Police of Crawford and Erie County.
In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his children, Jackie (Gary) Keck, Hermitage, Brian (Carla) Pennington, Greenville and Denice (Robert) Shollenberger, Greenville; two sisters, Marsha (Robert) Viselli and Charlotte (Wally) Caszatt, Greenville; two brothers, James Consider, Mercer and Brian (Sherry) Consider, Rock Creek, OH; 7 grandchildren, Cory and Garrett Keck, Brianna (Sean) Lauer, Kendra Pennington, Jensen (Brandon) Beilstein and Laina and Olivia Shollenberger and one great-grandson, Carson Keck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Linda Consider, Nancy Peterson, and Betty Ball, and two brothers, Gary Consider and David Consider.
The Memorial Service for Jack will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the St. Clements Episcopal Church, 101 Clinton Street Greenville, with Father John K. Wise, St Clements pastor officiating. He will be inurned in the St. Clement's Church columbarium.
The Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, has been entrusted with the care and direction of the arrangements.
