Hope L. Long, Greenville, Sugar Grove Twp. passed away early Monday morning, January 2, 2023, at the UPMC Jameson, New Castle. She was 58.
She was born in Greenville on July 24, 1964, a daughter of the late John G. and Julia E. (Johnson) Ramp. On September 3, 2003, she married Arthur E. Long, who survives. Hope had been employed for 30 years in the dietary dept of St. Paul’s Home, Greenville. She enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers and feeding and watching the birds.
In addition to her husband Arthur, she is survived by a daughter, Faith A. Bright, Greenville; 4 sisters, Mary Kilgore, Sharpsville, Donnie Ross, Jamestown, Glenna Addison, Greenville and Julia (Norman) Armer, Greenville and a brother, Roger Stewart, Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carla Williamson and Marcia Miller and twin infant brothers.
A Celebration of Hope’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
