Harry E. Kratochvil, Jr., of Andover, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was 68.
Harry was born on January 22, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Harry E. and Anna E. (Young) Kratochvil.
Harry worked as a truck driver for more than 40 years and owned and operated his own truck for many of those years. He attended Commodore Perry High School. Harry enjoyed traveling, especially family vacations to the Outer Banks, and treasured a memorable trip to Las Vegas with his nephew.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Kratochvil (Jennifer) of Canton, Ohio; his son, Christopher Kratochvil (Samantha) of Brookfield, Ohio; two grandsons, Brandon and Japer and 5 grandaughters and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delma (Tom) Kaltenbaugh and Karen (Ron) Wagner, both of Andover, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by two sisters, Harriet Carroll and Shirley Shiner; and a brother, Franklin Oberle.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home, 3223 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
