Gwen E. Gregory, Greenville, Greene Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, November 3, 2025, in the Emergency Department of the UPMC, Horizon, Greenville. She was 75.
Gwen was born on May 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Donald C. and Emagene Mae (nee’ Torrence) Gregory. Gwen had been employed by the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library System, from where she had retired after many years of service. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church. She enjoyed using her artistic talents to make crafts and sew. A gifted pianist, Gwen had a special gift for working with children and enjoyed her friends at Paxton’s Restaurant, where she would often frequent.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Carol (Bill) Reeder, Spokane, WA., Beth (Don) Tanner, Greenville, Reese (Darlene) Gregory, Hadley, Kenneth Gregory, Clarks Mills, Daryl (Brenda) Gregory, Hadley, and Fred (Michelle) Gregory, Polk, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Esther Stancovic, and two brothers, Clifton Gregory and Mark Gregory.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, with Ben Ziegler, assistant pastor of the Oak Grove Church, officiating. She will be laid to rest near her parents at Greenfield Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
