Gregory A. Harris

Gregory A. Harris, of Delaware Township, Fredonia, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center. He was 64.

Greg was born in Washington, DC on August 31, 1961, the son of the late Stanley and Phyllis (Taylor) Harris. He married the former Nancy A. Bleakney on November 2, 2019, and she preceded him in death in August of 2024.

Greg was a longtime owner of the Fredonia Corner Market and was a member of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church. He was a dedicated sports fan for basketball and football, cheering on the Washington Redskins. He loved spending time with his family, especially camping, fishing and swimming. 

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter-in-law, Sabrina Modara and partner Cole Greenawalt of Fredonia; a sister, Deborah Kelly of Chambersburg; two grandchildren, Maxwell and Lola Modara of Fredonia; and a niece Cheryl Kelly of Chambersburg.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife and his parents. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 169 Second St., Fredonia, with Rev. Eric Peters of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating. The family will receive loved ones at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00 pm time of service. He will be laid to rest at Millbank Cemetery at a later date.
