Gertrude M. Mast, Jamestown, Greene Twp. passed on to her eternal reward on June 6, 2024, at the UPMC Jameson, New Castle from a cardiac arrest. She was 83.
She was born on April 23, 1941, the daughter of the late Mahlon J. and Gertrude Nora (Troyer) Mast. On December 14, 1961, she married Eli Mast, Jr. who survives. Together they were blessed with 62 years of marriage. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Eli, she is survived by her children, Son in law, Joseph Miller, VA, Cora Jane (Jonas) Miller, Greenville, John Henry (Rachel Kemp), Jamestown, Ruth Marie(Paul) Yoder, KY, Erma Kaye (Owen) Schrock, Hadley, Joanna Ann (David) Yoder, Kinsman, OH, Lucinda Ann ( late Robert) Coblentz, KY, Dennis Ray (Anna Coblentz), KY, and Susan Lynn (Dewayne) Troyer, Kinsman, OH; 63 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Laura (Allen) Mast and Anna (John) Troyer; a sister-in-law, Sara Mast, and a brother-in-law, Clarence Schmucker.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Mae, and a son-in-law Robert Coblentz.
Visitation and services will be held at the Samuel Weavers residence, 216 Stateline Rd., Jamestown, PA 16134. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 9:30 am. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Gertrude will be laid to rest at Kinsman Amish Cemetery, Kinsman, OH.
