Geraldine Peters Obituary

Geraldine C. Peters, Cochranton, Deer Creek Twp. passed away early Sunday morning in the comfort of her home following a period of failing health.  She was 82.

She was born on the Southside of Pittsburgh, on March 25, 1943, a daughter to the late Henry and Margaret (Donnelly) Keil.  On July 17, 1959, she married Thomas J. Peters, who preceded her in death on February 7, 2020.   Mrs. Peters had retired as a custodian for the Baldwin - Whitehall School System.  She enjoyed fishing with her daughter Mary.

She is survived by three children, Thomas K. (Lisa) Peters, FL, James M. Peters, Pittsburgh, and Mary Peters, Cochranton; three sisters, Faith Chisman, CA., Linda Pirhalla, Pittsburgh, and Lois Kniss, S.C., and two grandchildren, Jordan Peters and Pauline Peters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandsons, Brian Michael Peters and John Joseph Peters, two sisters, Grace Schmitt and Nancy Gaertner, and two brothers, Raymer Keil and Dale Keil.

The family will be privately honoring the life of Geraldine with no services scheduled.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
