George "Terry" Haynes Obituary

George “Terry” Haynes, Jr., Greenville passed away on Tuesday evening, November 28, 2023, at the UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.  He was 56.

Born in Greenville on September 17, 1967, a son of the late George T. and Darleen (Fell) Haynes, Sr.  He had attended Reynolds High School.  On August 13, 1995, he married the former Carla M. Weimert who preceded him in death on March 7, 2023.  Terry was a jack of all trades and had been employed by Hadley Recycling until its closing.  He enjoyed playing darts, and pool, participating with the Northwest Truck Pulling Association, drag racing and demolition derbies as well as attending flea markets.

He is survived by his children, Nena Cleveland, Williamsfield, OH, Bobbie Jo Haynes, Edinburg, Amber Mayes, Sharon, Diana Haynes, Greenville, Annabelle Haynes, Jefferson, OH and Kellie Enterline, Hadley; two sisters, Susan Haynes, Gustine, CA., Diana “Dee” Klingensmith, OH, three brothers, Darrell “Scott” (Teresa) Haynes, Greenville, Brian (Tina) Haynes, Sharon and John Franklin, OH; his mother in law, Mary Weimert and her companion Joe “Papa” Miller, Greenville and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George, T. Haynes, Sr., his mother, Darleen V. Ours, his wife Carla, a daughter, Diana Britton, three grandchildren, Isabella Cleveland, Oliva and Jonathan Mayes, his maternal grandparents, Darrell and Marjorie Fell, Sr., paternal grandparents, Winfield and Kay Laverne Haynes, father-in-law, John Weimert and two close friends, Boone and Blaze.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Harvest Baptist Church 516 E. Jamestown Road, Greenville with Rev. Jeremy McClain officiating.  Monetary memorial tributes may be made to the funeral home to assist the family by clicking on the donate tab above.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L.
