George P. Molnar, Sr., Cochranton, Greenwood Twp. passed away Sunday afternoon, September 24, 2023, at his residence.  He was 83.

He was born in Cleveland, OH on June 5, 1940, a son of the late Paul and Helen Molnar.  He was married to the former Barbara Turner, who preceded him in death.  He subsequently married Linda Daniels, who survives at home.  George had served honorably with the US Navy and was a self-employed truck driver.

In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by 4 children, George P. (Geri) Molnar, Jr., KY, Jeffrey (Tammy) Molnar, Albion, Melissa (Don) Bickford, Cochranton, Sherry First, Saegertown and Charles Shupe, Linesville. Seven grandchildren, Johny, Trevor, Justina, Jacob, Dustin, Lacey, and Devin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara.

Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of the life for George that will be held on October 14, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the home of Melissa and Don Bickford, 3407 Mercer Pike, Cochranton.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.snyderfh.com.
