Gary L. Mook, Cochranton, Greenwood Twp., passed away at the Meadville Medical Center, Liberty Street Saturday evening, December 10, 2022. He was 69.
He was born in Geneva on September 26, 1953, a son of the late Walter J. and Blanche S. (Moroski) Mook. On June 28, 1975, he married the former Kathryn L. “Katy” McKinley who survives. Gary had served honorable with the US Marines and then went onto be employed by Channellock and then worked for Sunbeam Equipment Corporation which later became SECO/Warwick Corporation, Meadville from where he retired in 2013 after 40 years of service. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Katy, a son, Doug (Berry) Mook, Cochranton; a daughter, Brianne (Kyle) Henderson, Erie; a sister, Inez Waybright, Sandy Lake and 5 grandchildren, Zoe Mook, Kinsley Mook, Raegan Mook, Kaden Henderson, and Briella Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Mook.
Respecting Gary’s wishes no services are scheduled.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
