Eugene "Red" Stewart Obituary

Eugene “Red” Alan Stewart, Cochranton, Wayne Twp. formerly of Grove City passed away in the comfort of his home with his family by his side.  He was 73.

Red, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Ellwood City on December 31, 1951, a son to the late Donald L. and Amelia (Erhardt) Stewart.  On June 27, 1988, he married the former Deborah Baker, who survives at home. He had served honorably with the US Air Force as an Aeromedical Specialist from 1971 to 1974.  He was employed by the Borough of Grove City Water Department, working with the waste treatment plant.  He retired in 2013.

In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by three children, Braden Stewart, New Bethlehem, Tomi (Tyler)Fulmer, Franklin, and Maddox Stewart, Cochranton; three brothers, Dennis Stewart, Harmony, Jerry Stewart, Clearfield, and Richard Stewart, OH;, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will be privately honoring the life of Red Stewart.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
